What Do Adult Motus Ninja Classes Include?

Motus Ninja classes are each 50 minutes long. Instructors will lead the participants in a 5-minute warm-up before moving into coaching students through the stations. Students will be at each station for 11 minutes before moving on to the next one. Once getting through the stations, we wrap the class up with a group ninja shout! Once the class is completed, participants have free reign of the obstacles for 40 minutes of open gym time.

The CDC recommends that adults get 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week, with two days per week focused on muscle-strengthening activity. At Motus Ninjas, we can make sure those 150 minutes don’t feel like another thing on the to-do list, but something you genuinely look forward to each week.

What is moderate-intensity aerobic activity?

Aerobic activity is generally referred to as cardio—it’s an activity that makes you breathe harder and makes your heart beat faster. Moderate-intensity aerobic activity means you are working hard enough to raise your heart rate and break a sweat. A measure of whether or not you have reached moderate-intensity is that you should be able to talk, but not sing the lyrics of your favorite song. You don’t want to feel like you’re dying, but you should definitely feel the effort!
